To Aunty Judy

I thought I would attempt
To express this strange feeling I had
When among family and friends
Their absence makes the feeling grow stronger
The feeling allowed me to
Appreciate what and who they are to me
The feeling brings tears
Of joy, real joy, not happiness
Pure Joy
It brings laughter and a simple smile
To a tired and sad face
It fills the hearts with the warmth of the sun
And the body assumes the existence of air;
Wind floating over water
So I tried to express
My deep and unconditional love
