For those of you who thought January finished too quickly, you obviously don't work for the Government of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago - who thinks it is an absolutely wonderful idea to pay public servants their January salary sometime around mid- December.
Financially speaking I think January couldn't go by fast enough! I for one am glad it's over!!!!! And I know there are many who agree.
January 2010 - well no surprise there - it's over! Remember what I said about those resolutions ...... are you still working at them? or have you completely forgotten that you even had resolutions.
I knew you would. So here's a quick trick - at the beginning of each month - make a resolution. I'm not saying "DISCARD" your "New Year's Resolutions" but every month take one of those resolutions and focus on that, if the tasks requires more than one month then each month refocus and regroup.
So today is the last day of the first month of the year! Onward to month 2 !!!! - What are you going to do? Are you going to start over? Are you going to give up and say "next year for sure". OR are you going to make this year different, by trying the "New Month Resolution" trick.
You're probably thinking, that your year didn't start off great. You were planning on eating healthy, or hitting the gym, but you can't "find" time. I didn't know time was ever "lost" but you've reached the month of February, so how about you "look" harder for that time and make the effort to attain some of those goals that I KNOW you wrote down like I suggested at the beginning of the year - which by the way was only 31 days ago!
I hope you enjoy the first day of the second month of this NEW year! I hope you write down a few things that you want to change this month! We're going to work in baby steps! One month at a time. And it's always good to wrap up one month, looking back at what you accomplished, what you didn't accomplish and state how you're going to make the next month better.
Good night and Enjoy the beginning of February 2010 .
