2010 - it has a nice ring to it!
For some of you 2010 will bring joy, sadness and for others regret, unforgettable memories and much tears. I wish you all the best in this year regardless of what it brings to you.
2010 for me will be another year of change, another year of new beginnings, because as each day, month and year passes by, all we really have are NEW beginnings.
2010 is the opportunity for yet another new thing.
Last night I told you to ensure that your New Year's Resolutions are "SMART" resolutions.
Today I tell you to make each day of 2010 count, regardless of the resolution, so that 2010 will a year like no other.
Tonight you are welcoming this new year with prayer, fireworks, drinks, song and dance, all in good company.
Tomorrow you will wonder what has changed. I challenge you to know the answer to that question during this new year of 2010.
I challenge you to KNOW what is changing in this year.
